I think I'm fucking addicted to Dungeon Crawl. Maybe I should give Nethack a whirl too.

Seriously, I'm fucking hooked on blinking ASCII that you're going to have a hard time trying to pass off as dwarfs to the uninitiated now.
Also, starting work on my first dwarven atom smasher for use on those damned nobles.
I've been finding video games more and more boring lately. Sure the graphics may be getting better with each year but I just don't seem to click with the games of today.
On the up side, I've finally found enough time to read through my vast collection of books. The only thing I've used my computer for as of late is surfing the tubes and DDLing a few ebooks.
And that brings me to the subject at hand. I want to start playing tabletop games. I have a few friends who play Warhammer (fantasy & 40k) and I've been to some of their games. It seemed quite fun from an observer's perspective. A very big upshot of it, as I've noticed, is that you actually have to socialize with people face to face and not by yelling into a headset.
I have a problem though, I can't decide between 40k or Battletech (Mechwarrior is a personal fave).
